The Zofin Palace it is situated in the heart of Prague on the Slovansky Island. The neo-renaissance building was constructed in honor of the archduchess Sofie, mother of the emperor Franz Josef I. The island shores offer the most beautiful views of Prague and the Prague Castle. Since the middle of the last century, Zofin has become a cultural center of Prague. The Zofín Palace was designed in 1885-87 by Jindrich Fialka. The 1930s saw a garden, restaurant, and a musical pavilion added to the Palace. While architectural critics of the day decried this warping of the original design, the public applauded these clearly utilitarian changes. In 1992-94, this cultural landmark was reconstructed according to Tomas Santavsky's studio project. Nowadays, significant cultural and social events of international importance take place there and the Zofín Palace thus carries on nobly and with antique pride its richtradition.

The restaurant and the garden situated in Zofin Palace are highly sought-after, with 112 seats. A rich variety of Czech as well as international cuisine including fish and venison is prepared for you. In the summer months we offer pleasant rest in the garden restaurant with 160 seats and in an attractive terrace with 40 seats.

Mothers with kids can find children's playground within the space of the garden restaurant, where the kids can play in sight of their parents.

Guests can use a guarded parking directly on the island. We can arrange a permit for access to Masarykovo Nabrezi for buses of travel agencies. Our guests can also enjoy our boat rental close to the summer garden.

The restaurant is open daily from 11 to midnight and in case of various parties or wedding banquets etc. it is possible to extend the opening hours according to an agreement with the customer. We have prepared different table d'hotes for travel agencies in various price levels. Our goal is a satisfied customer, who likes to return to us.
