Prague Hotels History:

The first written records of the house date back in the 15th century. Well preserved basement rooms are from the Gothic period. Renaissance style is manifested in the painted beam ceilings while the entrance portal is the result of the Baroque reconstruction of the house. Later adaptations brought new architectural elements, among which are quite outstanding the classicist ones. Particularly unique is the house facade being connected with the famous 17th century altar painter Peter Brandl, who was born and lived in the house.
